For those of you who are currently on the spotlight OR getting ready to go on the spotlight (or just job searching in general), there’s a few things to always keep in mind when you’re on the hunt. 

First off and most importantly, ask yourself:
 – Are you available? 
– Can they reach you?
– Are you checking your email? 
– Are you checking your LinkedIn?
💡Check the spam folders! LinkedIn now also has what’s called “focused folders”, so messages can get filtered automatically.

You never know how someone might be trying to connect with you, so make sure that you’re checking all of your platforms! They might even pick up the phone (old-fashioned, we know) so please make sure your voicemail is set up to receive messages.  

Mind your professional image across your platforms and consider how you come across to someone who just happens upon your profile.
