Education

The education section of your LinkedIn profile is pretty straightforward. Ideally, you will list your education experience in reverse-chronological order. If you have not completed a degree or higher education, you do not need to list your education experience, as it is expected for most people to have completed high school.

As far as the description goes, you can add or limit as much information as you’d like, though you do not need to overshare. You can add your GPA if you would like but is not something that a recruiter can filter by when searching for you on LinkedIn.

As with the other sections, you do not have to share this part of your profile and can hide it here.

Licenses & Certifications

The licenses & certifications section of your LinkedIn profile is also straightforward. You can list industry-recognized certifications in this area. Do not feel obligated to list out military-specific certifications (e.g. JTAC, C2PC Operator, etc.) unless the roles you are interested in would benefit from having that type of experience.
