It’s very normal for all of all of us who’ve been in the military to feel pretty apprehensive about the interview process because… we don’t have to do it. (Doing a promotion board is much, much, much different from a civilian interview.)

If you should be offered an interview, that’s when you’re really going to turn up the heat on researching about the company. You’re looking at Google news, their LinkedIn pages, Crunchbase, tech crunch, glass door, etc.!

You want to go in there knowing who the CEO is, how big the company is, and what stage they’re in. Otherwise, you just look like you’re a candidate who’s not that interested. So be prepared!
